Purpose of processing

When using the newsletter, we collect anonymous statistics on opening and click-through rates. We use this to measure the success of the newsletter and to improve it.

What data is where processed

The images of the newsletter are delivered and the opening and click rates are measured via the Mindcurv Group web server (https://mindcurvgroup.com). The server is in Düsseldorf (Germany) at wysiwyg software design GmbH.

These data are processed when the images are loaded and when a link of the newsletter is clicked:

• Date and time of access
• IP address
• if applicable, the opening rates (pixel)
• the click on a link
• e-mail client or browser used
• operating system

Legal basis for the processing 

An article of the newsletter may be necessary for employment-related purposed (§26 BDSG, Art. 6. para. 1 lit. b GDPR (performance of a contract)) or is our legitimate interest (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR). The legitimate interest is to inform employees: inside about activities, projects, innovations and plans of Mindcurv Group.

The log files are anonymized after 30 days. The statistics themselves are always created with anonymized data. The data is processed using the Matomo Analytics (https://motomo.org).
